Working with Cala Homes in Thorpe Lea, Egham

We are managing the necessary Utility disconnections to afford demolition of the existing commercial premises, diversionary works for the necessary S278 works and the competitive tender of new supplies, with the appointment of a Multi Utility Provider whilst working closely with Cala Homes and the Design Team to ensure all Utility requirements are accommodated within the site layout and plot designs.

Electric to the development will be provided by an LV Point of Connection from SSE Networks, removing the requirement for a Substation on site. The appointment of an ICP/IDNO will provide cost and programme savings, along with programme commitment. SDS will manage these works to ensure power is provided to complement the first new home occupation.

Water will be provided via a NAV, with an independent Water Company licenced to serve the new homes, including adoption of the Waste network and the Pumping Station on site.

All new homes will be provided with Electric Vehicle Charging Points, which has been factored into the site power demand and 2no Fibre Providers will be available to all new homes.

SDS have prepared detailed and co-ordinated Combined Services Drawings for the site construction team and the appointed Multi Utility Provider – the Utilities design has been co-ordinated with the Design Team in order to avoid any clashes on the ground to facilitate the smooth installation of the new Utility networks.
