Native Land at Blackfriars

Brief

Our Client Native Land is building a prestigious riverside development adjacent to Blackfriars Bridge and engaged SDS to provide a complete solution for the utility requirements.

The Solution

Source Design Services undertook a feasibility study to identify all operational assets that are affected by the proposed development and provide technical and delivery input on their relocation. SDS then worked with our client Native Land and their enabling contractor McGees to provide a series of optioneering solutions to divert a bank of 132Kv electrical cables that were inhibiting the development of the site by precluding the construction of the basement. Our consultancy and design teams brought all of their utility and civil design expertise to develop the final design. Our construction team then built the solution for the client in a challenging constrained environment.
